After much careful consideration, we have chosen to postpone our Open House that is scheduled for tomorrow Wednesday evening because of predicted weather concerns. With temperatures expected to be below zero all day, we think the decision to cancel the Open House is in the best interest of families, students and staff. We are offering alternatives to this event for you to experience St. Francis de Sales in person before Saturday's test date.
A mini Open House has been scheduled for Friday, Jan. 9th from 5-7pm (flyer here). Come visit St. Francis Friday evening and meet students and staff and have your questions answered. You can then attend the boys basketball game. 8th grade students who come to the Open House will get one free ticket to attend the Varsity Boys Basketball game. January 9th is also Pack the House for St. Florian at the Pioneers Boys Basketball game: All gate proceeds and 20% of the concession stand will be donated to St. Florian.
Additionally, Personal Tours are available all week. Please call Mary Kay Ramirez or Jessica Rodriguez at 773-731-7272 to schedule your personal tour.
Finally, remember, Saturday January 10th is our test date. Please plan on arriving at St. Francis de Sales by 7:30 am. Although the test is at 8:00 am, our doors will open at 7:30 am for a light breakfast. Please bring two sharpened number two pencils and $25 for the test. Remember many scholarships are available. In addition, this year, January 10th test takers will be eligible for our St. Francis de Sales Community Scholarship. In order to be eligible for some of these scholarship dollars, you must be at the January 10th test.
