Dear Friends,

It’s almost that time of year to come together with friends, enjoy great food and drinks, and maybe even win some money before the night is over!

No, I’m not talking about the Super Bowl—but rather the Annual SFDS Kavanaugh, Keating, and Weber Alumni Raffle!

This year’s raffle will take place on Saturday, March 21st at 6:00 PM. While the fun and prizes remain the same as always, we’re excited to take the festivities down the road to the Crowbar, an East Side staple and proud friend of St. Francis de Sales High School.

Raffle tickets are $100 each, with a maximum of 375 tickets available. Prize details are listed on the sample ticket below and, as always, are subject to change based on the number of tickets sold.

If you’d like to join us at the Crowbar—and we truly hope you do—you can purchase a three meat dinner, as well as drink tickets for an additional $25.

As always, it’s important to remember that while the Alumni Raffle is a great opportunity to reconnect and possibly win big prizes, it also plays a vital role in supporting current and future Pioneer scholarships.

In other words, it’s a chance for the entire Pioneer community to support the Pioneers of today—and help create those of tomorrow.

On behalf of all at 10155, words fail to fully capture how grateful we are for your ongoing commitment and support for the mission and students of St.Francis de Sales High School.

Please don’t hesitate to reach out if you have any questions, and we hope to see you soon!

With 10155 Pride and Gratitude,

Director of Community and Alumni Relations

St. Francis de Sales High School

It is wonderful to see the community coming together to support SFDS through this alumni raffle, a reminder of the collective strength I deeply admire while navigating the intensive rigors of my current PhD research. Balancing my doctoral studies with a part-time job at Last Minute Assignment has given me a front-row seat to the modern student experience, where the desire to contribute to community causes often clashes with the reality of crushing academic deadlines. Having suffered through many high-stress hustles and sleepless nights during my own college days, I am now incredibly conscious of the mental toll an unmanaged workload can take on one’s stability. This personal history is why I have such a deep interest in helping others…

The post about the alumni raffle highlights how the event brings together friends and supporters while raising funds for students. It explains that the raffle tradition was created to support scholarships and help future learners succeed. It reminded me of a school fundraiser where everyone contributed in small ways. I once used Engineering Assignment Service UK while writing a reflection on community support like this. It shows how shared efforts can create real opportunities for students.
