Congratulations to Senior Abdul Nelson who has advanced to the state finals in the 1A Boys Three-Point Shootout! Abdul will shoot at the Peoria Civic Center on Thursday, March 7. The preliminaries are scheduled to begin at 5:00 pm.

Freshman Ixhelt Gonzalez is a member of the Chicago Skyhawks Wheelchair Basketball Team, which is sponsored by the Shirley Ryan Ability Lab’s Wirtz Sports Program and the Chicago Park District. The Skyhawks have once again qualified for the IHSA Wheelchair Basketball State Championship Tournament  in Peoria, on March 8 and 9!

CONGRATULATIONS! Boys Basketball Wins Semifinal Regional Game! Heads to Championship Game this Friday

Congratulations to the boys basketball team winning their semifinal game defeating Universal 70 to 60.

Our high scorer was Senior, Bedford Roberts, with 29 points followed by Freshman, Jerrick Moore with 12 points!

Next up: Regional Championship game here at SFDS on Friday, Feb. 22, 2019 at 7:00 pm

There is Still Time to Enroll for the 2019 Summer Trip to Greece!

There is still time to join us for the Summer 2019 trip to Greece!

Families that are still interested in enrolling on the 2019 trip to Greece can do so by following the link below.  The final deadline to enroll is March 1st.  The trip is open to students of all grade levels (9th - 12) and family members. An initial deposit is required to secure your spot on the tour then, monthly payments or other payment arrangements will eventually be required.
