Come Join Us! A Call For Resumes

St. Francis de Sales High School is now accepting resumes from individuals who might be interested in joining our team as we move into a new model of education for the 2014-2015 academic year. True to the symbol of the phoenix on the school seal, and now celebrating 75 years in education, St. Francis de Sales rises from the industrial model of education to offer personalized learning plans, a 1:10 faculty mentoring program, and an education rooted in the Salesian virtues. The ideal candidate for a teaching position at St. Francis de Sales High School will be accepting, appreciative, collaborative, compassionate, confident, a critical reader, writer & thinker, diverse, open to friendship with God, generous, hardworking, independent, and intellectually inquisitive. S/he will also strive to embrace the Salesian virtues of gentleness, holiness, humility, optimism, patience, presence, and relationality. In addition, the candidate will be enthusiastic about igniting these same characteristics in the young women and men we serve. S/he will embrace a vibrant, collaborative working environment where risk taking is encouraged and personalized attention to the academic, spiritual, social, and physical well-being of every community member is paramount. We are particularly interested in speaking with individuals who bring a diverse set of skills, interests, and experience to an educational environment.
