Institutional Advancement
|
Dear Members of the St. Francis de Sales Family! Welcome to our new Institutional Advancement page. Not only is our page new, but our staff is new also. While Beth Leo-Smith continues to add to her many years outstanding work in Alumni Relations and Special Events, Wally O'Sullivan joins us as Development Director, and Brendan O'Rourke began in July as our new Director of Recruitment and Marketing. I also started in July as the new President. We are very excited about this school year-largest freshman class in many years-and look forward to working with everyone to make St. Francis de Sales the educational choice on the East Side, and throughout Chicagoland Through the tremendous generosity of our benefactors, especially the Big Shoulders Foundation, we are able to keep the high quality, Catholic education offered by St. Francis, affordable for our families. We count on this generosity to "close the gap" between our tuition charge and the actual cost of education. These funds also go a long way in keeping our physical plant up-to-date, and help us make much needed improvements. Throughout the school year, we have many events planned, all designed to help you re-connect with SFDS, and to provide you with opportunities to help us to continue to enhance our Catholic Mission. We appreciate your support and look forward to meeting with all of you. Whether you can afford a monetary gift, a gift of time or of service, we deeply appreciate all that is provided for us. Our budget is lean-only the essentials. Our money is spent on educating children-not fluff. If you can help us, we look forward to working with you. At various times during the year, unexpected needs arise that we have not budgeted for. These needs will appear on our "Wish List" page, along with other requests for help. Please check the "Wish List" page for opportunities to help. As always, we appreciate all that our benefactors do for us in helping to keep St. Francis de Sales in the forefront of Catholic education in Chicago Sincerely, Fred Muehleman President |
