St. Francis de Sales

Student Text Books:  Many of our parents struggle to pay tuition and fees, plus  books.  The increasing cost of textbooks often makes the challenge of a Catholic education impossible.  A gift of $400.00, to be used for the purchase of text books for a worthy child, would go a long way towards making a St. Francis education possible.

Library materials:  Printed materials are still an invaluable part of our educational experience, along with DVD's. Maybe you have some "bestsellers" laying around the house you would like to donate? Or movies that you no longer watch?  Just drop them off at school and we will make good use of them. Our Librarian, Vince Nigito is searching the internet for used books under $10.00 each.  If you would like to help him, a donation of $100.00 would go along way in updating our library collection.

Breezeway resurfacing:  After many years of service, the protective top of the breezeway is in need of replacement.  We use this area quite frequently, for receptions, student activities and meetings.  The cost of resurfacing is approximately $8000.00.  A gift of any amount towards this cost will provide us with many more years of use for the breezeway.

Video equipment for the Athletic Department:  To ensure the success of our sports teams, review of practice and game film is imperative.  Our athletic department is in need of a TV/DVD player.  The cost is approximately $1500.00.  This would allow all of our athletic teams the opportunity to better prepare for their opponents.

Landscaping materials:  The cost of maintaining our building is one of our highest line items in the budget.  A donation of any amount would help towards reducing this amount, and beautifying our campus.  "Curb appeal" is important to us and to our neighbors, and beautification of our campus would help us to be a "good neighbor".

Student Sponsorship: If you would like to help an individual student with the cost of tuition, please call Brendan O'Rourke, our Recruiting and Marketing Director.  Tuition assistance forms are available.  We will select a needy student based on the criteria that you require.  While the current cost to SFDS to educate one student is approximately $8500.00, we charge our families $7,000.00.  This keeps a St. Francis education affordable, yet requires us to seek outside funding to "close the gap".  Your help is greatly appreciated!

Tuckpointing:  Our roof has been repaired!  Next on the list is tuckpointing.  Any contribution towards this project would help us stay within our maintenance budget.  

Advertising Banners:  If you would like your business information prominently displayed in the St. Francis gym during all volleyball and basketball games,  please call Fred Muehleman for details.  The banners include the SFDS logo and your business information.  The banners are approximately 3' X 5' and would hang from the gym balcony during all events.  This is a great way to advertise your business and support the Pioneers.  Cost is approximately $250.00 for the first year with a renewal charge of $100.00 per year, for additional years.
