Student Body Profile
With a school population of just over 300 students, our student/faculty ratio is 14:1. This allows us to associate names with faces, not numbers. We know our students well, allowing faculty, administration and coaches to intercede before any potential problems associated with high school-or being a teenager-develop.

Our student body is co-educational, as is the real world. Our students are taught appropriate behavior and to have a responsible attitude, which they are expected to exhibit while in high school and beyond.

St. Francis de Sales High School is richly diverse. Our students learn to appreciate their differences, as well as the characteristics they have in common. We view this diversity as a strength, not only in the classroom, but in the hallways, attending school events and on athletic teams.

With a population of about 40 percent Hispanic, 40 percent African American and 20 percent Caucasian/Asian/other ethnicities; Pioneers are not only prepared to go to college but to live and work  in the "real world."  Not only do our students represent a variety of ethnicities, but they represent a variety of cultures and religions as well.
